CVS services

We operate a CVS repository for storing source code and keeping track of changes over time. Some of the projects currently available include the armlinux kernel development, the svgalib video graphics library, and the libfloat floating point emulation library.

A web interface is available for browsing the CVS repository. This is handy for having a quick look around, but it is quite slow, especially if other activities are taking place on the server. Please do not try to recursively pull down files using wget or similar utilties; instead use the pserver method.

The normal way to access the CVS server is with a CVS client program. You should be using cvs version 1.10 or better. The environment variable CVSROOT should be set as follows:

    CVSROOT=:pserver:username@cvs.netwinder.org:/cvs

where username is your netwinder.org account name (see the `Register' link on the left to get one). We also have an anonymous account available, which provides read-only access.
